If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.</div></div><div><p>We are currently seeking a Sr. Hardware Technician for our Plant Vehicle Engineering Team. </p><p>The Role:</p><p>· Demonstrate expertise in building complex mechanical and electrical assemblies.</p><p>· Be highly detail oriented and able to keep detailed documentation of builds.</p><p>· Ability to demonstrate and teach learned technical skills/knowledge with other technicians.</p><p>· Assemble production and prototype assemblies.</p><p>· Proficient in troubleshooting High Voltage Vehicle, System, Sub-system, &amp; Component level issues</p><p>· Collaborate with engineers on the team to help complete engineering builds.</p><p>· Ability to execute work with minimal supervision.</p><p> </p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>· Strong fundamental understanding of Electric Vehicle Powertrain &amp; associated repair</p><p>· Experience with root cause analysis at the component and system level</p><p>· Familiarity with high precision measurement tools including bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, microscope, 3D scanners, Hioki, DMM, &amp; DC power supplies</p><p>· Proficient with hand tools, power tools and build equipment.</p><p>· Excellent communication skills for collaborating with engineers and technicians across organizations.</p><p>· Works safely in environments with high voltage and heavy equipment</p><p>· Minimum of 5+ years of experience on electric vehicle powertrain &amp; vehicle level diagnostics</p><p>· Ability to use 3D CAD software to read/interpret the drawings, &amp; interface with the tool for 3D printing</p><p>· Must be able to obtain a clean Driver Background Check from Motor Vehicle Department and demonstrate driving skill sufficient to operate a prototype vehicle.</p><p>· Ability to travel.</p><p> </p><p>Preferred:</p><p>· Experience with electric vehicle propulsion systems.</p><p>· Exposure to manufacturing processes, controls, PLC, &amp; FANUC Robots</p><p>· Prior experience in diagnosing Power Electronics component/systems.</p><p>· Prior experience working on the production floor of an Automotive OEM.</p><p> </p><p>Education:</p><p>· High school Diploma</p><p>· ASE certification a bonus</p></div><div> </div><div> </div><div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
