About this opportunity The primary purpose of the Moulding Technician is to set up, operate and troubleshoot injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment to mould and finish any manufactured articles including mobile garbage bins (MGBs), bodies, lids, and other parts according to the product specification.Your key responsibilities will be to:<ul><li>Oversees production schedules and coordinates mould changes, machine setups, and material handling.</li><li>Assigns tasks based on job orders and ensures proper setup of injection moulding machines and related equipment.</li><li>Adjusts machine parameters to optimize output and quality.</li><li>Manages inventory movement, maintains production records, and supports shift handovers.</li><li>Performs routine maintenance, addresses equipment issues, and collaborates with the R&amp;M team when needed.</li><li>Promotes a clean, safe work environment and motivates team members to meet production goals.</li></ul>Your skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you’ll have:<ul><li>Strong team collaboration skills</li><li>Effective problem-solving capabilities</li><li>Solid understanding of legislative safety requirements and safe work systems</li><li>Proficient in computer applications and systems</li><li>Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating procedures, maintenance instructions, and manuals</li><li>Skilled in writing routine reports and professional correspondence</li><li>Confident in speaking and presenting to groups within the organization</li><li>Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate figures accurately</li></ul>
