The role involves managing contractors to execute planned and corrective maintenance within specified time, quality, and cost parameters across your designated region. As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of 4 power plants, mainly windfarms (5 to 6 Wind turbines each one with installed technology), ensuring that internal procedures are followed and that suppliers are in line with the best practices within the sector, promoting health and safety at work. Location: North East, between Belgium, Rouen and Reims<h2>Job Description:</h2>Key Responsibilities HSQE (Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental): <ul><li>Ensure the safety of all personnel on site, adhering to regulations and legislation. </li><li>Uphold effective HSQE standards across the wind farm portfolio under your management. </li><li>Conduct regular audits and inspections of contractors for compliance. </li><li>Document safety incidents promptly, investigate as needed, and provide recommendations. </li><li>Lead emergency planning with regular exercises to verify its effectiveness. </li></ul>Contractor Management: <ul><li>Maintain high standards in contractor performance and stakeholder engagement. </li><li>Implement work plans for all sites, emphasizing the efficient generation of each wind turbine. </li><li>Foster good relationships with key stakeholders through regular communication. </li><li>Conduct contractor audits to ensure governance against contract deliverables. </li><li>Collaborate in procurement process in line with company . </li><li>Oversee project management to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with minimal impact on site performance. </li></ul>Technical: <ul><li>Operate the plant with a focus on safety and quality, maximizing the assets generation. </li><li>Identify and mitigate risks that could impact performance targets. </li><li>Carry out regular checks and inspections on contractors to ensure safe and high-quality activities. </li><li>Obtain authorisation under HV safety rules and coordinate component exchanges. </li><li>Investigate major outages to prevent re-occurrence and ensure lessons learned. </li><li>Active participation with fault finding and rectification were possible. </li><li>Collaboration in value-added projects to monitor asset efficiency, ensuring the correct installation and operation of equipment. </li></ul>Commercial: <ul><li>Deliver works on site within defined budgets while maximizing profitability. </li><li>Provide inputs to annual budgets for operating and capital expenditures. </li><li>Manage wind farms in line with budgetary expectations, identifying and communicating variances. </li><li>Focus on performance improvements to enhance wind farm profitability without compromising safety or quality. </li></ul>Reporting: <ul><li>Produce monthly operational reports detailing Asset Management activities and site performance. </li><li>Collaborate with Operational Analysts to address turbine performance issues. </li><li>Provide inputs written business cases to support initiatives.  </li><li>On-Call Responsibilities: </li><li>Participate in a rotational on-call rota system within the area. </li><li>Be available for site attendance outside of regular working hours. </li></ul>Technical and cross Competences Preferred: <ul><li>Experience managing onshore wind farms 2-5 years experience </li><li>Knowledge of information documentation, monitoring, and reporting industry best practices. </li><li>Experience of PV plants is beneficial </li></ul>Skills &amp; Knowledge: <ul><li>Clear and concise written and verbal communication at all levels. </li><li>Wind turbine analysis of faults and participation with corrective action planning </li><li>Strong scheduling and planning skills for timely task completion. </li><li>Previous experience in the operation and maintenance of HV/LV electrical plant. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. </li><li>Knowledge on Nordex, Vestas, Senvion, Enercon, GE is a plus. </li></ul>Education &amp; experience:<ul><li>Educational background in a field of Mechanical, Electrical or Civil construction </li><li>Min 2-5 years experience working within the Renewables Industry  </li><li>Project Management skills</li></ul>Skills and abilities <ul><li>Strong experience in managing contractors and HSQE topics </li><li>Able to be on site around 50% of the time </li><li>Residence near Hirson (02381) </li></ul>Company welfare and benefits <ul><li>Company car </li><li>Lunch voucher </li><li>Remote work </li><li>Company mutual insurance </li></ul>Location:France - HomeTime Type:Full timeWorker Subtype:Regular
