This position is required to work on-site 5 days a week.</p></div><h2><strong>What we do: </strong></h2><p>The Sr. Quality Engineer will collaborate closely with Supplier Quality, Design, Manufacturing, and the Materials &amp; Process teams throughout the product lifecycle—from concept to production. The position will lead, define, and execute aircraft-level, risk-based Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes to ensure industry-leading Aircraft build quality at production rates. It also supports Supernal’s type and production certification efforts.</p><h2><strong>What you can do:</strong></h2><ul><li>Develop aircraft-level quality planning using the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process aligned with Supernal's overall program development phases. Lead PFMEA, control plan creation, MSA studies, and process capability studies to establish robust quality control processes</li><li>Actively participate in design and drawing review process to ensure design robustness and producibility</li><li>Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing and Supplier Quality teams to develop quality control plans for both initial prototype aircraft builds and high-volume production builds. Develop and implement detailed quality control processes and inspection processes to ensure quality integration of LRU and sub-systems into the aircraft</li><li>Conduct production and build process verifications and validations through FAI and/or process audits</li><li>Lead production floor control of non-conformance processes and facilitate MRB processes. Ensures nonconformance identified during aircraft build are properly addressed in a timely manner.</li><li>Monitor production build status closely and drive root cause analysis (RCA) for major design and manufacturing issues using industry best practices such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Red-X methodologies.</li><li>Data analysis including baselining and trending for testing and/or metrics</li><li>Coordinating/implementing MoM/MES and QMS activities</li><li>Mentor lower-level Quality Engineers</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><h2><strong>What you can contribute:</strong></h2><ul><li>Bachelor Engineering or relevant field required; Master of Science in relevant field preferred</li><li>At minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in Quality/Operations</li><li>Working experience with core quality controls processes (APQP, PPAP, MSA, Control Plan, FMEA and SPC)</li><li>Experience with technical data review, ANSY 14.1 GD&amp;T and Tolerance analysis.
