We are currently seeking a Contract Talent Acquisition Sourcer who will work cross-functionally with key stakeholders on our Biologicals, Commercial & Business teams to hire the right talent for Indigo. The role of the Contract Talent Acquisition Sourcer is to partner with recruiters, hiring managers and other members of the People team to efficiently and thoughtfully hire outstanding talent at Indigo. This role will require outstanding people skills, an ability to execute and thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment.

Responsibilities:

Successfully build the top of the funnel for open roles across multiple businesses including Commercial, Business & Biologicals

  • Define and execute immediate strategies for sourcing strong candidates
  • Utilize strong and diverse network to find top talent from a wide range of sources
  • Proactively screen and qualify candidates against clearly defined scorecard, presenting strong candidates to hiring managers
  • Nurture talented candidates regardless of whether the timing is right for a candidate to make a move

Manage excellent recruiting process, partnering with, recruiters, hiring managers, and key stakeholders to gather detailed feedback to assess candidate fit for the role

  • Quickly understand Indigo’s overall recruiting process and learn to facilitate meetings as needed
  • Facilitate scorecard meetings to define role, demonstrating ability to lead room and guide discussion
  • Successfully step in as the primary screener for candidates at the top of the funnel
  • Partner with recruiters, hiring managers and key stakeholders to move candidates through the Indigo recruiting process efficiently without compromising top talent
  • Demonstrate proficient use of technology to get the most out of Indigo systems

Be a strategic partner to hiring managers

  • Build trust with hiring managers and demonstrate responsiveness, bias for action, and a clear understanding of recruiting needs
  • Have clear understanding of how recruiting needs fit into broader departmental or organizational needs and be a thought partner to hiring managers on recruiting strategy for open roles
  • Establish regular cadence for checking in with hiring managers to drive efficient progress on all roles
  • Create tools or systems for communicating status updates on a regular schedule so that hiring managers always understand the status of open roles
  • Track candidate pipelines in real-time & provide insights to Hiring Managers regarding DEI metrics, blockers, and candidate feedback in order to adjust sourcing & hiring strategy

Qualifications:

  • 3 years (minimum) in a sourcing role at a fast-paced start-up company or recruiting firm, specializing in Agriculture, Biotechnology and/or Life Sciences
  • Strong network and understanding of the  Ag & BioTech communities, a plus
  • Startup + hyper-growth experience strongly preferred
  • Proven track record with pro-actively sourcing candidates from a variety of diverse talent pools
  • Demonstrated passion for building talent brand in a growing organization
