The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our design services business, collaborating closely with clients to understand their requirements and developing comprehensive wire harness design packages ready for manufacturing. This is an on-site / hybrid opportunity based at the Re:Build AppliedLogix development center in Rochester, NY.   What you get to do!  <ul><li>Collaborate with clients to gather and understand design requirements for wire harnesses.  </li></ul><ul><li>Review and finalize any missing design inputs, ensuring all specifications are accurately captured.  </li></ul><ul><li>Utilize industry-leading Cadonix Arcadia software tools to create detailed wire harness designs and documentation.  </li></ul><ul><li>Ensure that every design complies with the relevant industry standards and client specifications.  </li></ul><ul><li>Work closely with manufacturing teams to provide necessary support during the production phase.  </li></ul><ul><li>Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback to optimize designs for functional performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.  </li></ul><ul><li>Maintain thorough documentation throughout the design process. </li></ul><ul><li>Work in a team environment to develop and refine internal processes to improve design quality.  </li></ul>What you will bring to the team <ul><li>BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.  </li></ul><ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in wire harness design. </li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, SolidWorks Electrical).  </li></ul><ul><li>Strong understanding of electrical first-principles, wire routing, and wire harness assembly techniques.  </li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., UL, IPC, SAE) related to the Automotive industry.  </li></ul><ul><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.  </li></ul><ul><li>Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality designs on schedule. </li></ul>Compensation Range: Annual salary for this position is expected to be between $116,000 to $175,000, plus participation in our annual bonus plan and long term incentive plan.
