In this role, you will be responsible for accurate bookkeeping and the preparation of financial statements in line with HGB/UGB. You will play a key part in ensuring compliance, supporting audits, and driving process improvements across our finance operations. <h2>Your Responsibilities </h2><ul><li>Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance. </li></ul><ul><li>Independently handle classification and posting of business transactions across GL and asset accounting. </li></ul><ul><li>Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (UGB). </li></ul><ul><li>Prepare VAT returns and ensure timely submission. </li></ul><ul><li>Contribute to group-wide financial projects and cross-functional initiatives. </li></ul><ul><li>Act as a point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and banks. </li></ul><ul><li>Identify and implement process improvements, supporting automation and digitalization. </li></ul><ul><li>Prepare financial analyses, reports, and statistics for management. </li></ul><h2>Who You Are </h2><ul><li>Completed commercial training or comparable qualification; ideally certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or tax clerk. </li></ul><ul><li>At least 3 years of experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting. </li></ul><ul><li>Sound knowledge of HGB (UGB) accounting principles. </li></ul><ul><li>Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail. </li></ul><ul><li>Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style. </li></ul><ul><li>Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and experienced with SAP S4 Hana. </li></ul><ul><li>Fluent in German (written and spoken), with strong English skills. </li></ul><h2>What we offer</h2><ul><li>An unlimited contract with 30 vacation days.  </li></ul><ul><li>Flexible, hybrid work: You can work from home or come into the office on the schedule that works best for you.
