Let’s create impact together! 🌱 What's on the menu?As our new Machine Learning Engineer, you'll be a key player within our AI team, focusing on developing cutting-edge machine learning models. A typical week will involve diving deep into historical data to craft models that provide tailored advice, insightful recommendations, and accurate predictions for our clients. You'll also be instrumental in exploring and integrating generative AI concepts into our product offerings, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in food waste reduction.  Collaboration is at the heart of this role; you'll work closely with various disciplines and teams across Orbisk, gathering business requirements and understanding diverse machine learning applications to ensure our solutions are impactful and aligned with our mission. While you'll be an individual contributor within the existing AI team structure, your expertise will directly contribute to our project planning and the continuous evolution of our technology.The key ingredients for success: <ul><li>You have approx. 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning operations, integrations, and infrastructure, as well as interfacing with data pipelines and general Data infrastructure.</li><li>You have experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams and are able to structurally contribute to project planning by writing RFCs/PRDs/Design Documents.</li><li>Experience in developing agent-based solutions, especially integrating LLMs (even from personal projects), and working familiarity with HuggingFace or LangChain</li></ul>Why join Orbisk? Orbisk has developed  the world’s first fully automated food waste monitor. We outfit your waste bin with a scale and a smart camera. The camera runs an AI image recognition algorithm that recognises ingredients from images. Effortlessly, we register what food is wasted and why. By means of action-oriented dashboarding, you'll be able to find and optimize the inefficiencies in your food providing process,  annually saving an estimated over 4,000 kilos of food waste for an average sized restaurant, worth €20,000 - €60,000, thus improving sustainability and profitability!
