At the end of 2023 we finished construction of our first solar park and windfarm, which are now exporting power.To have the biggest impact, we target markets that are underserved by capital and renewable expertise, by a team with a long history in successful development and construction of major renewable projects.We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Battery Storage Development Manager, specializing in the renewable energy sector with a specific focus on wind, solar, and battery storage projects. In this role, you will be responsible for early-stage development and origination of new standalone battery energy storage projects and co-located battery storage projects for the existing portfolio. The role will involve coordination of project development activities, formulation of commercial offers, customer &amp; related stakeholder management, and requires a deep understanding of energy markets, transmission and distribution network constraints, and experience with siting, permitting, and interconnecting renewable energy/ energy storage projects.What you will do:<ul> <li>Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for battery storage projects, aligning with the organization's renewable energy objectives.</li> <li>Identify market trends, opportunities, and potential risks in battery storage technologies for solar and wind energy.</li> <li>Conduct feasibility studies and financial analyses to evaluate the viability and potential return on investment of battery storage projects.</li> <li>Lead and manage battery storage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, requirements, and technical specifications.</li> <li>Coordinate and supervise project activities, including procurement, construction, commissioning, and testing of battery storage systems.</li> <li>Monitor and report project progress, identify and address any issues or delays, and implement</li> <li>Stay up to date with advancements in battery storage technologies, industry standards, and regulations related to renewable energy storage.</li> <li>Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including renewable energy developers, utilities, regulatory bodies, and research institutions.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements for battery storage projects.</li> <li>Develop and implement safety protocols with the assistance of the HSE Manager, operational guidelines, and quality control measures for battery storage systems.</li></ul>What you bring:<ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
