We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Sr. Engineering Manager, Data Infrastructure to lead the development, optimization, and maintenance of our data infrastructure systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring our data pipelines, storage platforms, and processing environments are scalable, secure, and efficient. Working cross-functionally with engineering, analytics, and operations teams, you'll help drive data-driven decision-making across the company.Responsibilities<ul style=""><li>Lead a team responsible for large-scale data infrastructure, supporting both data processing systems and data warehousing solutions.</li><li>Define and drive technical strategy, ensuring systems are reliable, scalable, and aligned with long-term business goals.</li><li>Guide the implementation of best practices in data quality, security, governance, and observability.</li><li>Coach and develop individual contributors, fostering an inclusive and high-performing engineering culture.</li><li>Act as a thought partner to cross-functional leaders in Product, Analytics, Autonomy and Infrastructure, shaping roadmap priorities and delivering measurable business outcomes.</li><li>Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve infrastructure performance and cost-efficiency.</li><li>Monitor infrastructure KPIs and reliability metrics; proactively address bottlenecks or issues.</li><li>Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, sharing context with clarity across technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul style=""><li>8+ years of experience in data engineering, backend development, and DevOps.</li><li>3+ years of management experience hiring and developing teams</li><li>Strong experience of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing.</li><li>Strong programming skills in at least one object-oriented language (Python, Java, etc.).</li><li>Advanced level SQL and Data Modeling skills.</li><li>Leadership skills and experience to lead across functional and organizational lines.</li><li>Proven track record of leading technical strategy, making architectural decisions, and delivering large-scale systems with cross-functional impact.</li><li>Strong communication skills to explain and evangelize analytics and data infrastructure.</li><li>A passion for problem-solving and comfort with ambiguity.</li></ul>What Makes You Standout<ul style=""><li>Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).</li><li>Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Dagster, Apache Airflow).</li><li>Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.</li><li>Cloud infrastructure cost optimization.</li></ul>
