solar) and battery storage systems. &nbsp;This role aids in operations support of renewable power generation projects; while supporting development, engineering, and construction of projects.</span></div><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><div><span><b>Requirements:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </b>&nbsp;</span></div><ul><li><span>Develops preliminary and detailed design of AC (Low, Medium, and High Voltage) and DC systems, including DC power blocks (PV) and MV AC collection systems (PV/Wind).</span></li><li><span>Develops DC block design (PV), MV AC design and BOM preparation.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Develops models of the AC substation and collection systems and performs and Load Flow and Short Circuit analyses, DC and AC loss calculations, cable ampacity studies, and AC/DC cable sizing.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Evaluates Inverter ratings and optimizes inverter units for Solar and BESS installations.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Performs calculations for sizing and specifying main power transformers.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Supports estimating of company developed and 3rd party projects by creating preliminary designs for proposed projects and quantity counts for estimating electrical equipment costs.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Works with designers and assists in the development of construction drawings and documentation to effectively communicate electrical installation details to construction teams.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Assists in the preparation of technical specifications to identify design requirements for procurement of electrical materials and equipment.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Performs technical review of proposed equipment to ensure acceptability to company, client, and industry standards.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.</span></li><li><span>Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies &amp; Procedures.</span></li></ul><div><span><b>Additional Responsibilities:</b>&nbsp;</span></div><ul><li><span>Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.</span></li><li><span>Provides support to construction during the construction and commissioning phases.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Reviews work instructions periodically to ensure compliance with industry and client standards.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Develops new methods and standards for Group design activities.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Visits sites as needed during pre-construction and construction to support project needs.&nbsp;</span></li></ul><div><span><b>Qualifications: </b>&nbsp;</span></div><ul><li><span>Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or 8 years’ equivalent experience required.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Master’s degree in electrical engineering preferred.</span></li><li><span>Engineer-in-Training certification preferred.</span></li><li><span>2 or more years of electrical engineering experience, preferably experience in electrical power or renewable energy industry required.</span></li><li><span>2 or more years of power generation industry with EPC experience preferred.</span></li><li><span>Ability to travel domestically 5 to 15% required.</span></li><li><span>Must possess a valid Driver’s License.</span></li><li><span>Intermediate level of knowledge in:&nbsp;
