This role is central to our efforts in Canada and will work closely with our CEO, CFO, and VP Projects, to execute on project development, government engagement, and capital formation.</span></div><br><br><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead commercial efforts to develop DAC projects in Alberta and across Canada.</li><li>Engage with Alberta and federal governments, including securing non-dilutive funding   (e.g., NRCan, Canadian Growth Fund, Emission Reductions Alberta, etc.)</li><li>Build partnerships with emitters, storage providers, and First Nations communities.</li><li>Structure and negotiate off-take agreements for DAC carbon removal credits.</li><li>Support equity and project finance raises with investors and strategic partners including accessing Federal and Provincial Investment Tax Credits.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>15+ years in energy, infrastructure, or climate technology.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field. MBA an asset.</li><li>Strong experience working with Alberta and federal government agencies.</li><li>Proven track record developing large-scale projects and raising capital.</li><li>Familiarity with Canadian carbon markets and CDR policy landscape.</li><li>Experience with Indigenous partnership development in Canada.</li><li>Have an established network of relevant industry connections and the drive to build and maintain a strong network of strategic business relationships.</li><li>Strong knowledge of financial modeling, investment analysis, and risk management.</li><li>Commitment to sustainability and a passion for the carbon removal and energy technology industries.</li><li>Intellectual curiosity and creativity; entrepreneurial spirit, welcoming and thriving in ambiguous and ever-changing environments.</li></ul><br><div>CarbonCapture Inc. is an equal opportunity employer, making all employment decisions based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
