Software is an integral part in realizing this vision and we are hiring a software manager to play a leadership role shaping our future. </div><div> </div><div><strong>Position Summary: </strong></div><div> </div><div>The Fixed Assets Accounting Manager will oversee the fixed asset group to ensure timely completion of essential duties including month end closing, variance and reserve analysis, fixed assets/inventory processes, assuring adherence to SOX compliance, and accurate preparation of financial accounting results. EVgo is seeking a highly capable individual who is comfortable working in a constantly evolving and dynamic environment while conducting their work with efficiency, accuracy, and integrity. Occasional travel to Los Angeles (1-3 times per year) for company events, team meetings, and inventory counts. <br> <br><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></div><div><ul><li>Ensure transactions are recorded, documented, reviewed, and supported in accordance with company policies, U.S. GAAP, and internal controls </li><li>Maintain documentation for fixed assets, inventory, and financial close/reporting processes to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley 404 requirements and evaluate current processes for improvement including collaboration with cross-functional teams; ensure compliance with internal control over financial reporting  </li><li>Demonstrate strong working knowledge of accounting for constructed assets including inventory consumed in such process and serve as a technical subject matter expert to guide operational teams in the development of scalable business processes </li><li>Manage full end-to-end accounting close processes for fixed assets (including internally developed software), CIP, and inventory, inclusive of accruals, journal entry postings, acquisitions, transfers, disposals, impairments, etc. </li><li>Partner with FP&amp;A, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to maintain accurate records and support strategic decision-making related to capital investments and collaborate with the Tax team on sales and use tax and property tax filings </li><li>Reconcile and/or review general ledger accounts, roll-forward schedules; investigate and resolve variances in a timely manner </li><li>Complete timely data analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts </li><li>Provide guidance, training, and development to the on-shore and off-shore accounting team </li><li>Conduct periodic asset reconciliations and participate in annual onsite physical inventory audits to verify asset existence and condition </li><li>Lead and/or manage any fixed asset and inventory system implementations or enhancements including any initiatives required for contractual compliance and growing and scaling the EVgo business </li><li>Assist with implementation of other company-wide initiatives </li><li>Participate in and support financial and tax audits as necessary </li><li>Perform ad-hoc projects and analysis when necessary </li><li>Prepare and review supporting schedules for fixed asset footnote disclosures included in quarterly and annual SEC filings </li></ul></div><div><strong>Qualifications:</strong></div><div><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent (required) </li><li>CPA, or highly qualified CPA candidate highly preferred </li><li>5+ years of experience in accounting for inventory, CIP, and fixed assets. </li></ul></div><div><strong>Desired Skills: </strong></div><div><ul><li>Experience in a public company and proper implementation of internal controls highly preferred </li><li>Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and management communication skills </li><li>Exceptional attention to detail and precision; highly resourceful with a proactive, hands-on approach and a positive mindset </li><li>Excel proficiency including advanced quantitative/data functions </li><li>Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines </li><li>Excellent working knowledge of U.S. GAAP </li><li>Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley and requirements to be compliant </li><li>High energy level and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Solid leadership presence in leading, managing, and motivating the Accounting team through complexity and high growth phase </li><li>Strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with solid business and financial acumen to make critical decisions and understand business, financial and organizational implications of changes in the internal and external environment </li><li>Must be able to demonstrate sound professional judgment and act with integrity  </li><li>Experience with fixed assets, inventory, asset retirement obligations, and intercompany transactions preferred </li><li>Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, SiteTracker, and Coupa, a plus </li></ul></div><div>For job positions in CA, CO, and NYC, the estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $105,000 USD to $155,000 USD.
