You are a talented corporate finance professional with strengths in business partnering, financial modeling and analysis, decision support, and the development and tracking of performance metrics. You love data, financial concepts, numbers, working with others, and accurate forecasts. You are eager to dive into details and also able to zoom out and change direction at the speed of the business. You understand processes and how to use data to guide decisions. You raise the bar for yourself and others.

You Will:

  • Partner with business teams across Convoy (one or more) like the Customer Experience, Marketplace Growth, and Marketing teams to help these teams maximize revenue growth, margin efficiency, and optimize resources
  • Join the leadership teams of these organizations and work closely with the leaders and their teams on all financial matters. 
  • Create financial models used to generate forecasts, and to answer key questions about the business.
  • Perform financial analysis of different types to guide decision making, e.g., capacity, unit economics, price sensitivity, customer, geography, return on investment, lifetime value.  
  • Understand cost structures, data, drivers, and sensitivities.
  • Set up and operate key financial and operational processes in partnership with business partners.
  • Partner with the FP&A Central team to complete recurring activities like Month End Close, Annual Plan, Quarterly Forecast

We're looking for someone who has:

  • 5 to 10 years of increasingly complex and broad corporate finance and business planning and analysis experience
  • Ability to perform multiple types of financial and business analysis including ROI, unit economics, customer, geographic, price sensitivity, others.
  • The skills to build and improve financial models that are easily understood by business partners
  • An understanding of financial and operational dataThe ability to development and track of performance metrics
  • Strong executive communication skills, ability to synthesize complex information into clear and consumable messages, slides, documents, and charts
  • Clear understanding of accounting principles including GAAP, and recognition of revenue and expenses
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, or other quantitative discipline.
  • Graduate degree is a plus.
