<p>The Applied Materials Division (AMD) at Argonne National Laboratory is seeking a Postdoctoral Appointee to contribute to the research, development, and manufacturing of advanced cathode materials for next-generation lithium- and sodium- ion batteries.</p><p></p><p>This role provides a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of battery innovation, focusing on the design and implementation of novel synthesis and processing strategies aimed at achieving high performance, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability. The selected candidate will leverage the capabilities of the Materials Engineering Research Facility (MERF), a pre-pilot-scale research and development facility well-equipped for process development, scale-up, and prototyping. The Postdoctoral Appointee will be responsible for integrating materials processing with electrochemical performance objectives, establishing scalable synthesis workflows, and supporting technology transfer.
