A Sea of Solutions…..One Supplier.For more information, visit our website at <a href="http://www.teledynemarine.com/">www.teledynemarine.com</a>.<h2>POSITION WILL BE BASED IN Brazil- São Paulo </h2>JOB SUMMARY:The Sales Manager is responsible for Sales of Teledyne Marine products in the defined area both directly and through distributors, specific responsibility to support the Central &amp; South America’s for Teledyne Marine’s Imaging &amp; Instruments and Vehicles verticals.RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Responsibility to build and maintain an active pipeline in a CRM, Salesforce, to exceed orders and sales targets on a quarterly, and annual basis.  </li><li>Provide accurate booking forecasts and keep up-to-date customer and pipeline records.</li><li>Actively manage the channels to ensure they are fully engaged, optimized, and driven to succeed.</li><li>Develop and drive a regional sales strategy to maximize market penetration of Teledyne Marine Instruments &amp; Imaging and Vehicles products including new market entries both direct and with channel partners.</li><li>Orchestrate and hold technical seminars, product presentations and customer demonstrations direct and in conjunction with partners and channels.</li><li>Remain informed of competitor status, products, advantages, and weaknesses.</li><li>Develop and maintain a solid understanding of market conditions and trends.</li><li>Identify opportunities and capture market share growth while collaborating with the Teledyne Marine businesses to optimize efforts.</li><li>Be responsible for discovering Teledyne Marine non-standard sales opportunities and participate in the selling process in collaboration with product management.</li><li>Understand fully the benefits and functionality of each of the products in Teledyne Marine Instruments &amp; Imaging and Vehicles portfolio and how they compare within the market.</li></ul>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience</li><li>Relevant background/education in a maritime organization would be advantageous, specifically hydrography.     </li><li>Retired Naval Officer with Hydrography experience is a plus.             </li></ul>SKILLS:<ul><li>Strong interpersonal acumen, communicate effectively from entry level to C-suite customers.</li><li>Languages needed – English, Spanish, Portuguese, all at working level.</li><li>Excellent communication ability with all nationalities, written as well as verbal.</li><li>Ability to have or attain good comprehension of technical/maritime issues.</li></ul>AUTHORITIES:<ul><li>Providing quotations to Agents/Reps within pricing authority</li><li>Providing quotations to customers within pricing authority</li><li>Recommend termination and hiring of Agents/Reps within the region based on defined performance criteria</li></ul>METRICS:<ul><li>Booking Target</li><li>Revenue Target</li><li>Quarterly reports on Agents / Reps</li><li>Ability to provide timely and accurate booking prognosis.</li><li>Ability to provide qualitative feedback on market conditions and trends, new customer applications and product ideas</li><li>Ability to report competitive activity</li></ul>  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
