It will be under the selected candidate responsibility to ensure and confirm data collected during the tests are accurate and complete.</span></div><br><br><h3>How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation: </h3><ul><li>Establish and execute HASS, ESS, and Product Acceptance Testing procedures in support of production and certification requirements</li><li>Serve as a key interface between engineering and manufacturing, translating product requirements into actionable test plans and scalable test infrastructure</li><li>Lead efforts to automate manual testing processes, enhancing throughput, consistency, and traceability</li><li>Define test system requirements, source and commission test equipment and ATE, and oversee integration into the production environment</li><li>Complete data acquisition techniques, processing, and signal conditioning on sensors</li><li>Ability to perform hands-on tests including setting up and executing tests with test hardware and data acquisition</li><li>Maintain test system calibration and readiness in support of both FAA compliance and internal QA programs</li><li>Document all test activities, results, and procedures in accordance with industry standards and Beta’s internal quality system</li></ul><h3>Minimum Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>B.S. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or related technical field</li><li> with 3+ years of experience</li><li>Experience in production or environmental testing of electronic systems</li><li>Strong experience with HASS/HALT/ESS methodologies, including temperature, vibration, humidity, and power cycling tests</li><li>Experience defining, sourcing, and commissioning test systems and Automated Test Equipment (ATE)</li><li>Experience troubleshooting and maintaining test systems and Automated Test Equipment (ATE)</li><li>Hands-on experience with data acquisition, sensors, test instrumentation, and test control systems</li><li>Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python) or platforms (e.g., LabVIEW) for test automation</li><li>Strong cross-functional communication skills with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams</li><li>Experience working with high-voltage systems and applying safe lab practices</li></ul><h3>Above and Beyond Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>3-5 years experience in the Aerospace or EV industry</li><li>Experience launching or expanding a production test cell or lab environment</li><li>CAD experience for test fixture design and layout</li><li>Knowledge of AS9100, FAA compliance frameworks, or other aerospace production quality systems</li><li>Experience working with MES or other traceability and manufacturing systems</li><li>Ability to author SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and train test operators on procedures and equipment usage</li></ul><h3>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</h3><ul><li>Ability to ascend and descend ladders and/or stairs</li><li>Ability to position self for inspection including confined, elevated and loud noise spaces</li><li>Ability to position self to move and/or transfer materials, equipment and/or supplies</li><li>Ability to use tools, equipment, and technology necessary to do the job.
