We provide dedicated resources for courses, conferences, and training to ensure you are always learning and growing.</li> </ul>What You Will Own &amp; Drive (Key Responsibilities)<ul> <li> Build Scalable Foundations: Contribute to the design and development of the core foundation for the Change Detection product as it scales to new domains.</li> <li> Develop Reusable Components: Ensure the team builds reusable parts that can be used to compose ways to analyze other perils using the same general change detection foundation.</li> <li> Contribute with Excellence: Execute on the product roadmap, championing best-in-class engineering practices for quality, security, and operational resilience.</li> <li> Problem Solving: Translate complex product requirements into clear and effective technical solutions, proactively managing risks and dependencies.</li> <li> Collaborate to Win: Be a strong team player and technical partner to other engineers and the team’s tech lead. Foster strong connections within the team and outside with other engineers in our Product Engineering department.</li> </ul>The Experience and Skills You'll Bring<ul> <li>Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer in a Product Team, with a track record of delivering and scaling complex software products.</li> <li>Strong software design and development skills in a cloud environment, preferably AWS.</li> <li>Deep, hands-on proficiency in Python and expertise in geospatial programming and associated libraries (e.g., GDAL, Rasterio, GeoPandas).</li> <li>Expertise in modern software engineering, DevOps, and CI/CD practices, including containerization with Docker.</li> <li>Exceptional collaboration skills and experience working in cross-functional teams with diverse technical backgrounds.</li> <li>A strategic mindset with the ability to break down complex, abstract problems into actionable plans.</li> </ul>Bonus Points<ul> <li>Experience with Argo Workflows &amp; DataDog.</li> <li>Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes.</li> <li>Experience with Machine Learning pipelines or MLOps in production environments.</li> <li>A background in or passion for Earth Observation, remote sensing, or data-intensive scientific applications.</li> </ul>Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl.
