You will work to build and optimize processes and enable the engineers and scientists across the organization as they bring our demonstration system online.<h2>Responsibilities:</h2><ul style=""><li>Oversee the purchasing process within our Procure to Pay tool, Coupa</li><li>Assist engineers and scientists to get new Suppliers onboarded</li><li>Review Purchase Orders to ensure completeness considering downstream data and process implications for goods receipts, invoicing, reporting and inventory management</li><li>Work closely with the Supply Chain, Legal and Finance teams to tackle pain points</li><li>Drive process maturity and efficiency across purchasing processes</li><li>Develop purchasing metrics and weekly reporting for leadership visibility</li><li>Develop training materials, provide training and guide users to effectively utilize the tools and processes in place</li><li>Perform ad hoc analysis as requested to support various leadership initiatives</li></ul><h2>Qualifications:</h2><ul style=""><li>At least four years of progressive purchasing operations experience</li><li>Experience working with Coupa</li><li>Experience owning the end to end purchasing process for a hardware company</li><li>Experience creating new operational processes and ensuring continued improvement of those processes over time</li><li>Experience compiling reporting into cohesive and comprehensive executive summaries for consumption by various levels of leadership</li></ul><h2>Preferred but not required:</h2><ul style=""><li>Experience working in a startup</li><li>Experience working in industries such as: fusion, energy, aerospace, automotive or manufacturing</li><li>Experience working closely with PhD scientists and R&amp;D technology organizations</li></ul><h2>Benefits:</h2><ul style=""><li>Industry-competitive salary</li><li>Equity plan</li><li>6% employer 401k matching</li><li>Generous paid time off (including sick leave, vacation, paid family leave)</li><li>Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance</li></ul>Actual base salary offered will be determined by: experience, skills, and work location.
