Reporting directly to the SVP Business Development &amp; Partnerships, you will shape how land use companies, project developers, investors, and market intelligence providers measure, manage, and invest in nature-positive supply chains and high-integrity carbon projects.  Responsibilities<ul><li>Strategic positioning and brand narrative<ul><li>Develop and champion the strategic positioning of the Chloris brand, through a clear and consistent storytelling that integrates Chloris’ range of products and services across its range of customer verticals.</li><li>Position the company as a trusted partner for its customers, with a clear messaging about the scientific quality and integrity of the data and the value proposition of its solutions</li></ul></li><li>Go-to-market and demand generation<ul><li>Design and lead integrated marketing campaigns targeting the range of Chloris addressable markets</li><li>Drive inbound and outbound strategies to grow brand presence across Forest, Land, and Agriculture (FLAG) carbon accounting and carbon markets.</li></ul></li><li>Content and thought leadership<ul><li>Lead the development of high-impact content — white papers, data showcases, webinars — that support market acceptance and understanding of Chloris data and solutions, coordinating across the data science and business development teams for input and support.</li><li>Elevate Chloris’ voice as a leader in high-integrity carbon accounting for both carbon markets and supply chain solutions — aligned with frameworks like SBTi FLAG, GHG Protocol Land Sector &amp; Removals, TNFD, ICVCM Core Carbon Principles.</li></ul></li><li>Sales and partnership enablement<ul><li>Lead the development of compelling sales collaterals - pitch decks, demos, and case studies - for the data sales and solution teams</li><li>Support the executive team in developing effective partnership strategies - including the building of co-marketing opportunities, and in representing the brand in events and summits</li></ul></li><li>Team Leadership and budget ownership<ul><li>Mentor and develop the marketing team</li><li>Manage agency partners, service providers, and overall marketing and communications budget</li><li>Track and report on marketing ROI</li></ul></li></ul> Qualifications <ul><li>At least 10 years in B2B marketing for sustainability, carbon markets, earth observation, or climate tech.</li><li>Deep understanding of both supply chain sustainability (FLAG) and voluntary carbon markets.</li><li>Proven ability to market complex environmental data products (e.g., biomass measurement, MRV-as-a-service).</li><li>Skilled at crafting clear value propositions for diverse stakeholders: corporate sustainability teams, financiers, project originators, and ESG data buyers.</li><li>Excellent communicator with a strong grasp of sustainability frameworks (SBTi FLAG, GHG Protocol LULUCF, TNFD, VCMI).</li><li>Hands-on experience driving go-to-market for SaaS or data platforms in climate or ESG.</li></ul> Preferred:<ul><li>Background working with nature-based carbon project developers or biodiversity project verification.</li><li>Familiarity with global forest-risk commodity supply chains (soy, palm, beef, cocoa, coffee, paper and pulp).</li><li>Existing relationships in the VCM or NBS ecosystem (standard bodies, carbon exchanges, investor coalitions).</li></ul> Location + Time Commitment This is a full-time position.
