<div><div>We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager with a deep knowledge of Micro Grid systems, a strong background in the energy sector, and a proven record working with Utilities and Commercial &amp; Industrial (C&amp;I) customers. This role will be instrumental in driving market expansion, forming strategic partnerships, and supporting the closing of high-impact deals to accelerate clean energy adoption. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Utility, C&amp;I and Remote market segments.</li><li>Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders including utilities, large energy users, developers, and rural communities.</li><li>Lead top of funnel sales process with outreach to new contacts, prospecting, qualifying projects and managing lead workflow for Pipeline growth.</li><li>Develop and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and ROI analyses tailored to customer needs.</li><li>Collaborate with sales, engineering, finance, and operations to scope and price projects accurately.</li><li>Track and manage opportunities using HubSpot.</li><li>Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote brand and solutions.</li><li>Provide feedback to the product and strategy teams based on customer needs and market trends.</li><li> This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may be required to perform other related duties as directed by management.</li></ul> Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field.</li><li>5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the renewable energy or microgrid sector.</li><li>Strong network and understanding of the Utility and C&amp;I energy landscape.</li><li>Proven success in developing and closing multi-million-dollar energy or infrastructure projects.</li><li>Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.</li><li>Experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot.</li><li>Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.</li><li>Willingness to travel (25–50%) to meet with partners and attend industry events.</li></ul>Preferred Experience:<ul><li>Technical knowledge of microgrid components, energy storage, and renewable integration.</li><li>Familiarity with energy procurement, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and utility programs.</li><li>Experience navigating regulatory and permitting processes for distributed energy projects.</li><li>Understanding of financing models for energy infrastructure projects.</li><li>Strong understanding of Lead Management, Forecasting and Reporting with HubSpot</li></ul></div></div>
