Business Operations Manager - Remote

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for someone who is interested in a climate tech operating role and leading cross-functional initiatives to scale a climate tech company in the insurance sector. You will get the opportunity to project manage both external and internal projects to support the growing demand for innovative risk solutions that accelerate the deployment of renewable energy assets. This will involve working across our business product lines alongside our data engineering and data science teams to improve our effectiveness and efficiency.

What you can look forward to:

• Leading and managing projects across multiple business product lines and engineering teams, including ongoing grants with the US Department of Energy and key customer accounts
• Tackling high-priority business process issues at a scaling startup by identifying and redesigning those processes through new technologies and/or process improvements 
• Learning the details and becoming an expert in risk management for renewable assets
• Managing internal business planning and company OKR development processes
• Reporting to Director of Strategy and Operations and becoming a professional in the fastest-growing energy source by working alongside industry veterans
• An equity stake in the company, via incentive stock options

What you likely need to do the job well:

• Experience coordinating and managing remote teams in different functional groups
• Ability to manage external clients in complex situations
• An innate drive to track details and manage content across platforms 
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Powerpoint) experience
• Curiosity to learn, try new things, and propose solutions
