Marketing Manager - Remote

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an individual contributor accountable for creating the positioning and narrative of kWh Analytics’ product lines and corporate brand. This will require a track record of taking a complex narrative in a jargon-laden industry and translating it effectively into a clear and memorable story. You will collaborate with product leaders to craft the narrative and ensure its successful distribution. To help you be successful, we have built the industry’s largest solar database and relationships with industry leaders that will make for incredible content marketing.

• Growing the brand of an innovative, mission-driven company that is facilitating the energy industry’s transition to renewables
• Supporting go-to-market planning with product leads to articulate value propositions 
• Developing new product marketing strategies and drive market engagement by creating a variety of content types 
• Executing on existing marketing initiatives - including building upon our chart-topping Solar100 series in Forbes, our website, virtual events, and reports
• Generating actionable, data-driven insights - from customer interviews to internal analytics tools - to inform marketing content and commercial strategy
• Reporting to Director of Strategy and Operations and becoming a professional in the fastest-growing energy source by working alongside industry veterans
• An equity stake in the company, via incentive stock options

What you likely need to do the job well:

• A knack for storytelling that carries the right message while cutting through the noise
• Strong writing skills, a “go-getter” attitude, and tenacity to get our story heard
• Experience using data to convey product messaging, conceptualize appropriate charts, graphs, and infographics
• Journalist instincts: A penchant for curiosity paired with a strong sense of autonomy
• Solar or finance experience a strong plus
• Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, or graphic design is a plus
