Safety, environment, and wellbeing are our foundation, and we never compromise them.   We are looking for a Senior Service Engineer Mechanical to join our Pool of resources in Gdansk, Poland.    Your role and responsibilities   As a Senior Service Engineer Mechanical you will focus on these responsibilities: <ul><li>Required Services/repairs of ME/Aux engines</li><li>Identify failures, faults and make adjustments during maintenance or repair of engines- To prepare and organize service works as a job leader</li><li>Prepare service report after completion of service jobs</li><li>Provide technical support to customers</li><li>Work according to the regulations, policies, procedures standards and work instructions including the management system and environmental quality.</li></ul> To be successful in this role, we expect you have: <ul><li>BS degree + 2 year of related experience or AS degree and 3 years of experience, or High School Diploma /Technical / Vocational school (preferably Marine, Mechanical or USCG) + 5 years of experience</li><li>Experience as a:<ul><li style="font-family:arial , helvetica , sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;">Mechanical engineer on Wartsila Diesel Engine or similar Medium bore applications as a Lead Man.</li><li style="font-family:arial , helvetica , sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;">Mechanical technical experience on Wartsila Power Plants or similar application as a Lead Man.</li><li style="font-family:arial , helvetica , sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;">Lead man.</li><li style="font-family:arial , helvetica , sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;">Mechanical officer on Ships with Wartsila engines or similar application.</li></ul></li><li>Information Management skills, including MS Office Tools.</li><li>Strong knowledge of auxiliaries equipment.</li><li>Electrical troubleshooting Skills A+.</li><li>Good command of English in speaking and writing. second language is a plus.</li><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with people from different culture.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure.</li><li>Motivation to learn and grow professionally.</li><li>Ability to travel around the USA for at least 7-8 month per year and also abroad when required.</li><li>Ability to generate technical reports.</li></ul> Why you and us?  You are valued – as your true self.
