We are looking for a passionate Chief Product Officer to join our team. Do you have extensive B2C experience and want to apply your skills to a purpose that has a strong positive impact on both people and the planet? Ecosia’s search engine and browser apps are used by people in over 180 countries, and our future CPO is an essential part of our growth strategy and development. We’re looking for a people focused leader, experienced at helping product organizations scale their impact and developing products that are loved by users globally. 

YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Create clarity and positive momentum towards a shared product vision.
  • Make sure our product initiatives are well executed and align with the company goals.
  • Shape and scale our product organization and nurture a healthy and productive culture.
  • Lead, grow, coach and develop great product people and help them to thrive.
  • Investigate and implement further strategic product opportunities and evaluate existing partnerships.
  • As a member of the leadership team you drive strategic initiatives and are one of the contributors to the company's strategy and culture.

YOUR AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE:

  • At least 4 years working in a leadership role in product, ideally in B2C environments across different companies.
  • Proven ability to grow and guide international teams, with extensive organizational design experience, especially in hiring and scaling teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills with the ability to make strategic decisions and execute well.
  • Experience in all areas of product discovery, development and delivery, with a strong understanding of adjacent topics like technology, design, business development, marketing and analytics.
  • Passionate about supporting our users and the Ecosia cause.
  • Fluent spoken and written English (German not required).

The salary range for this role:A fair compensation package that reflects your skills and experience in the range of EUR 95-120k per year.
