Job Description

We are looking for an ECAD / PCB Layout Engineer to join us at our office in San Carlos, CA. We're also open to remote candidates.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with electrical/power engineers to design printed circuit boards including high voltage, high power, digital and analog PCBs
  • Design printed circuit boards following design constrains and rules
  • Work with mechanical engineers on packaging
  • Support building PCBs with quick turn houses and contract manufacturers

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient using OrCAD or similar schematic/layout
  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing best practices, standards and processes
  • Experience in laying out designs involving power electronics, analog and digital signals.
  • Very familiar with PCB processes and standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of PCB layout design experience
  • Knowledgeable in layout of high voltage and high current PBC.
  • Knowledgeable in standards for high voltage and high current PCB.
