nZero’s growing team has deep expertise in energy policy, human-centered design, fintech, and data science. We are a passionate, semi-distributed team collaborating in an agile process—pairing developers, designers, & product owners to build products that meet our customers’ core needs.
About You:
We are looking for a Senior Copywriter to join our Marketing team as we rapidly scale. We are a fast growing company, who is expanding globally and is driven by our mission to help clients cut carbon by empowering them with data.
As a Senior Copywriter you'll utilize writing, analytical, creative, and brand voice expertise to tell customer stories and shape the customer experience - communicating clearly the benefits of our product while also educating the consumer about our market, carbon accounting and why it matters.  You are passionate about sustainability, can self-motivate and also are an expert collaborator and communicator- working closely across departments to execute initiatives successfully.
You’ll play a key role in supporting a major evolution of our SaaS product - working  closely with the VP of Marketing to build campaigns and communication initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Bring creative-thinking and copywriting to informational and experiential projects (e.g., delivery/sales tools, campaigns, social, video, web, and event)
  • Help build out our “Knowledge Hub” - so nZero is not just seen as a solution, but also an informer of what is happening in the sustainability and carbon accounting space
  • Help develop case studies and communicate customer success stories
  • Write concise headlines and well-structured short and long-form copy 
  • Create brand messaging systems that distinguish nZero in the market, adapting across media
  • Use creative flexibility to connect with audiences globally, partnering with regional teams

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience
  • Experience writing engaging copy across variety of platforms across digital and print
  • Experience within and knowledge of the sustainability space
  • Will require some travel

Bonus Skills and Qualities

  • Experience within the SaaS space
