In the future, there’s opportunity to make this role even more strategic, if this is your ambition.Marketing – 40%Event Management<ul> <li>Contribute to the overall event strategy, identifying and prioritizing key industry events</li> <li>Manage all aspects of expo design, including vendor coordination, production, and shipping, be ready to attend conferences around the globe</li> <li>Support with all planning aspects of events, including insurances and trouble shooting</li> </ul>Creative marketing – social media and website - option for business development involvement<ul> <li>Create and manage engaging content, including graphics and animations </li> <li>Produce in-house multimedia content including blogs, videos, or podcasts </li> <li>Monitor and enhance website performance through SEO and analytics tracking</li> <li>Learn about business development and take part in brand positioning through marketing channels</li> </ul>Collateral Design<ul> <li>Design and produce marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations</li> <li>Create and maintain branded templates for internal and external use (e.g., presentations, documents, and business cards, letterheads)</li> <li>Edit external materials to ensure they align with brand guidelines and maintain professional quality</li> </ul>Operations – 40%<ul> <li>Support our team with planning and coordination, including travel and visas, organising team activities </li> <li>Manage the purchasing of equipment and tools, lead relationship with our IT provider </li> <li>Maintain our digital infrastructure across Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Outlook etc.), including optimising our filing structure </li> <li>Ensure a safe and productive work environment adhering to policies and procedures</li> <li>Lead our annual compliance activities, including insurances and renewals</li> </ul>Exec Admin support – 20%<ul><li>Manage calendars and organise meetings as needed</li></ul>RequirementsWhat you will need <ul> <li>Confidence to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment</li> <li>Excellent self-organising skills: no detail slips past you and you can stay on top of many competing priorities</li> <li>Graphic Design Proficiency: Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign). </li> <li>An eye for design: skills to create and maintain consistent visual identity across all channels</li> <li>Clear written and verbal communication </li> <li>Drive to learn in a startup environment and wear many hats as you grow</li> </ul>It can be useful to have:<ul> <li>Experience with business systems administration in startups</li> <li>Familiarity with health and safety processes, particularly in engineering or technical environments</li> <li>Examples of digital content work</li> </ul>BenefitsEmployee Option Plan: You get equity in IONATE, so as we succeed so do you.  Private Medical &amp; Dental Insurance: From day one, we provide you with full, comprehensive private medical and dental cover through Bupa.
