Assists with administration and maintenance of Human Resources programs, policies, and procedures, in accordance with Company objectives.Principal Responsibilities<ul><li>Responsible for weekly payroll and time &amp; attendance.</li><li>Responsible for answering all first level HR related inquiries, to Managers and hourly employees</li><li>Liaison between corporate HR, payroll, and the employees regarding Benefits, Payroll, HR, time &amp; attendance, etc. </li><li>Creates and maintains location specific reference manuals, standards, policies, procedures, and work instructions that fall under the scope of Human Resources</li><li>Maintains accurate and up to date personnel records for all employees - attendance records, training records, performance appraisals, reviews, etc.</li><li>Develops and maintains HR monthly reports for Location Management – turnover, absenteeism, manpower, STD hours, and recruitment</li><li>Supports full cycle recruitment efforts in coordination with Talent Acquisition and the Hiring Manager for all hourly personnel and skilled trades.</li><li>Develops effective onboarding procedures and conducts new employee orientation</li><li>Provides relevant HR training to hourly employees (AODA, Respect in the Workplace, Privacy, etc.)</li><li>Assists in creating training Matrix</li><li>Monitors 30-60-90 day evaluations, and notify Supervisor when due</li><li>Conduct Exit Interviews for hourly employees</li><li>Assists with administering Claims Management and Return to Work for Non-Occupational injuries or illnesses in coordination with Employee Relations and HSE, as applicable. </li><li>Meet with hourly employees, as required, to resolve benefit and payroll issues</li><li>Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities as may be assigned by Management</li><li>Develops and administers effective rewards and recognition programs</li><li>Coordinates and carries out various Employee Engagement activities and opportunities in coordination with Management. </li><li>Conduct Stay Interviews and other various survey options to assist Management in gathering feedback from employees.</li><li>Prepare detailed reports for Management and support appropriate action items from information gathered.</li><li>Employee is expected to be available and accessible to all employees.
