Our record USD 4.6 billion order backlog and strong book-to-bill ratio reflect long-term confidence in our mission and solutions.Join us at Landis+Gyr, where we manage energy better!  The role of the NPI Project Manager Engineer is:<ul><li style="text-align:justify;">To lead/support New Product Introductions within the Technical Functions.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">To ensure engineering is aligned with all NPI project functions.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">To plan/manage NPI resources including time and capital expenditure to ensure NPI’s are launched on-time, within budget and deliver agreed NPI objectives defined within each project.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">To technically support all product changes affecting the manufacturing process throughout the product lifetime.</li></ul>  Key Areas of Responsibility<ul><li style="text-align:justify;">Manage NPI resources (Time/Expenditure) in a planned and organised manner.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Delivery of project(s) on-time and within budgeted cost as per agreed project schedule and milestones.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Work as part of a cross-functional NPI team, representing Supply Chain manufacturing engineering.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Manage changes within project, that affect manufacturing process and Supply Chain by using L+G methods, processes and standard practices.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Managing changes of product that impact production process through the Engineering Change Management process.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Specify and procure suitable/ capable/cost effective equipment for manufacturing.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Support Quality in deploying PPAP (DFT – DFA – Process Flow – PFMEA – CP – MSA – Capability Studies – defining process CTQs) in both suppliers and own production.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Ensure procured equipment meets all legal as well as company requirements in terms of Safety, Environment and Quality perspective.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Investigate and implement production techniques and best practices.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Support assembly/production processes in collaboration with Lean &amp; Industrial engineering teams.</li></ul>  Requirements<ul><li style="text-align:justify;">NPI/Project Management experience.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">HNC/HND in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering - time served engineer preferred.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Flexible, can-do attitude, with well developed interpersonal skills.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Ability to meet deadlines and to plan and prioritise their own workload.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">A strong, proactive communicator and leader who works equally well within a team environment as well as on their own.
