Opportunity for overtime as well!Shifts: Contract and Direct <ul><li>2nd shift: 2:00 PM -10:30 PM</li><li>3rd shift: 10:00PM - 6:30 AM</li><li>Day shift 2-2-3</li></ul>Training: Training will take place on 1st Shift for a minimum of 2 weeks.Benefits: For Direct hires, benefits Start 1st Day of Employment and college tuition reimbursement!What you will do:<ul><li>Move batteries through and out of formation process including testing, acid filling and make up of lifts for hirise boosting.</li><li>Operates level selector power belt on exit conveyor to hirate station for storage table being unloaded.</li><li>Disconnects forming cables. Removes jumpers and pushes batteries out of conveyor table.</li><li>Removes card for rectifier, records information, and places on one battery being pushed out.</li><li>May obtain lubrication pump tank and spray gun and spray up lubrication on feed conveyor, storage table, and exit conveyor.</li><li>Removes in-process vent and top off batteries with acid using an immersion top off machine.</li><li>Moves batteries into and out of machines by pushing by hand. Required to align remaining batteries in cradle prior to immersion.</li><li>Gets process or finish vent caps from temporary storage.</li><li>Responsible for assembling correct process or finish vent caps on all batteries.</li><li>Performs OCV check on 100% of batteries before pile hirise.</li><li>Defective batteries are to be tagged and removed from production.</li><li>Get plywood base from temporary storage and position to metal stand.</li><li>Get short and long wooden uprights from temporary storage to work place.</li><li>May lift or slide batteries from conveyor to plywood base, positioning each battery to insure proper polarity.</li><li>Positions long and short wooden uprights between batteries to properly support batteries stacked ten high.</li><li>Obtains wire jumpers and connects batteries in series using jumpers.</li><li>Insures good contact with terminal by giving connect a quarter twist.</li><li>Tests circuits to insure positive contact.</li><li>May keep record of production and rejects.</li><li>May perform other duties as directed to assist in achieving production requirement.
