<div><b style="font-size:11pt;">About the role</b></div><div><span style="font-size:11pt;">Halter is searching for a Lead Supply Quality Engineer to take responsibility for ensuring that every component in our supply chain is delivered at quality and on time. </span></div><div><span style="font-size:11pt;">If you are an expert in implementing and managing quality systems to catch issues early, resolve them quickly, and ensure high quality components are always delivered on-time at our Contract Manufacturers, we want to talk to you!</span></div><div><span style="font-size:11pt;">Our Hardware manufacturing is accelerating quickly to satisfy our growing global markets and it is vital that every component that is shipped to our contract manufacturers in Asia is ready for the tough environment it will face on farm, once it is assembled into Halter hardware.</span></div><br><br><h3>What your day could look like</h3><ul><li>Drive rapid improvement through process optimisation and clear documentation after you identify a poorly controlled assembly process at a supplier</li><li>Update and implement quality control documentation to protect against future failures based on root cause analysis that identified a component issue, first flagged when a collar went offline on a farm in Australia</li><li>Implement statistical process control methods for the critical parts of a component’s assembly process and work with the supplier to ensure this is reflected in their process control plan</li><li>After a failure during IQC inspections at a contract manufacturer, run a rapid sprint analysis with design engineers to unblock the release of the shipment and keep production running</li><li>Audit the implementation of Halter’s Quality requirements at a new supplier and work with the supplier to quickly close the non-conformances you found</li></ul><h3>What we are looking for in a candidate</h3><ul><li>5+ years of experience in quality management for high-volume manufacturing. Production of electromechanical products is preferred</li><li>A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a similar field is highly desired</li><li>Proven experience in responding to and resolving quality issues rapidly to minimise production disruption</li><li>Demonstrated ability to hone in on the most important issues when auditing or reviewing problems</li><li>Experience working with suppliers to ensure required outcomes are met, based on context</li><li>Willing to travel regularly (25%+ of the year)</li><li>Someone who will thrive in a close team environment and can work well in the self-directed and demanding environment of a quickly scaling company</li></ul><br><div><span style="font-size:18px;">About Halter</span></div><div><br></div><div>At Halter, we’re on a mission to enable farmers and graziers to run the most productive and sustainable operations.
