The ideal candidate will bring strategic leadership, operational excellence, and a passion for continuous improvement.<h2>Responsibilities</h2>Responsibilities<ul> <li>Lead and mentor a distributed team of AP clerks across all manufacturing locations.</li> <li>Drive standardization of AP processes during and post-ERP implementation (Infor LN).</li> <li>Manage full-cycle invoice processing, including coding, three-way matching, approvals, and compliance.</li> <li>Centralize vendor payment processing and develop controls for cash forecasting and visibility.</li> <li>Review high-volume transactions for accuracy, duplicate detection, and fraud prevention.</li> <li>Collaborate with Procurement and Receiving teams to resolve invoice/PO discrepancies.</li> <li>Establish and maintain internal controls to support audit and compliance requirements.</li> <li>Evaluate and implement AP automation tools and process improvement initiatives.</li> <li>Oversee monthly AP close activities including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.</li> <li>Monitor and report on AP KPIs, vendor aging, and discount capture.</li> <li>Manage 1099 filings and ensure accuracy of sales/use tax on vendor invoices.</li> <li>Reconcile multi-state sales tax returns.</li> <li>Build and maintain strong vendor relationships; resolve escalated issues professionally.</li> <li>Provide training, coaching, and performance management for site-level AP staff.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2>Qualifications<ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li> <li>5–7 years of progressive AP experience, including 2+ years managing a multi-site team.</li> <li>Experience in manufacturing and ERP transitions; Infor LN familiarity is a strong plus.</li> <li>Proven success in high-volume AP environments.</li> <li>Deep understanding of AP controls, cash disbursement cycles, and vendor compliance.</li> <li>Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Proficiency in Excel and ERP/reporting tools.</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul> <li>Experience centralizing decentralized AP operations.</li> <li>Background in process improvement and automation.</li> <li>Knowledge of sales tax regulations and PO workflows.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul> <li>Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience)</li> <li>Annual bonus target of 10%</li> <li>Comprehensive benefits package including: <ul> <li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance</li> <li>401(k) with company match</li> <li>Pension plan</li> <li>Paid time off and more</li> </ul></li></ul>Additional Information<ul> <li>This role is based at our company headquarters in Dyersburg, TN.</li> <li>Occasional travel to other manufacturing sites may be required.</li> <li>Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.</li></ul>Join ERMCO and TRANSFORM your career.
