Over the past year, Aurora Solar has doubled in size - and as we continue to scale our People Team needs an ambitious and detail-oriented individual to support them. As the People Operations Coordinator, you will use your can-do attitude and passion for people, processes, and details to support all stages of the employee lifecycle and have a meaningful impact on the employee experience of Aurorans.

What you’ll do:

  • Act as our Aurora Onboarding Ambassador by directing the logistics that create a meaningful experience for new hires; including facilitation of onboarding sessions, creation of accounts, scheduling orientation activities, and ordering new hire equipment and partnering with our HRBP team to ensure a successful onboarding of new hires
  • Grow and facilitate the existing onboarding buddy program, including training new buddies, coordinating buddy pairings, and ensuring the buddies are completing the necessary tasks
  • Help develop our employer branding strategy to better showcase life and culture at Aurora to the outside world and internally with Aurora employees
  • Partner with People Ops and Workplace Experience on continued improvements to enhance a remote and distributed working environment
  • Assist in the creation, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of People Ops systems, policies, and procedures
  • Day-to-day administrative assistance including ad hoc reporting, benefits questions, and general inquiries from employees
