<p style="text-align:left;"><b>Job Description:</b></p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p><b>Job Summary:</b></p><p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven <b>Manufacturing Engineer</b> to support the production and continuous improvement of <b>eBOS components, including junction boxes, wire harnesses, connectors, and related assemblies.</b> This role will drive manufacturing excellence within production facility and across our component supplier base, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective, and scalable operations.</p><div></div><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Develop, document, and optimize manufacturing processes for electrical component assembly and integration.</li><li>Collaborate with design and product engineering teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and aligned with production capabilities.</li><li>Support new product introductions by establishing process parameters, equipment needs, and training procedures.</li><li>Implement Lean and Six Sigma practices to improve process efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.</li><li>Identify and lead automation opportunities, including tooling, fixtures, and semi-automated assembly systems.</li></ul><p><b>Supplier Coordination:</b></p><ul><li>Partner with suppliers to ensure components meet technical, quality, and delivery requirements.</li><li>Conduct process capability studies and support supplier qualification and onboarding efforts.</li><li>Review and approve supplier process documentation, such as control plans and flow diagrams.</li><li>Support failure analysis and drive corrective/preventive actions for supplier quality issues.</li><li>Collaborate with procurement and quality teams to improve supplier performance and reduce overall cost of ownership.</li></ul><div></div><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in solar, automotive, or electronics industries.</li><li>Solid understanding of assembly processes for electrical components, wiring, and enclosures.</li><li>Proficient in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and data analysis software.</li><li>Familiar with industry standards and certifications (UL, IEC, ISO, etc.).</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on approach to troubleshooting and process improvement.</li></ul><div></div><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Experience in renewable energy or solar component manufacturing.</li><li>Knowledge of supplier development, auditing, and qualification processes.</li><li>Familiarity with ERP and MES systems.</li><li>Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent continuous improvement training.</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:left;">At Nextracker, we are leading in the energy transition, providing the most comprehensive portfolio of intelligent solar tracker and software solutions for solar power plants, as well as strategic services to capture the full value of solar power plants for our customers.
