As a leading global automotive original equipment "OE" technology provider &amp; aftermarket supplier, the Sensata Aftermarket team is looking to strengthen our Product Management team by hiring a Product Manager to drive the development and execution of our global tire pressure monitoring system "TPMS" and Radar roadmaps for the Automotive OE and Aftermarket. The Product Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning of a global product portfolio and provide operational support for existing products. The role requires the ability to develop roadmaps on new and existing products that align with customer needs and the company’s strategic, operational, and financial objectives. The Product Manager is part of a global team and reports to the Global TPMS &amp; Radar Senior Product Manager.General Responsibilities<ul><li>Overseeing the development of actionable product roadmaps by integrating inputs from cross-functional stakeholders in our business objectives &amp; product strategy </li><li>Defining a vision for a product and aligning stakeholders around the vision for the product</li><li>Developing product strategy and optimizing product portfolio, providing planning and project prioritization </li><li>Creating strategic alignment across larger teams to empower independent decision-making</li><li>Understanding and representing user needs</li><li>Monitoring the market and developing competitive analyses</li><li>Selecting and managing strategic partners (e.g. tool partners, packaging vendors, integrators)</li><li>Overseeing product positioning in the marketplace, including rationalizing pricing strategy based on market conditions </li><li>Contributing to the pricing strategy through the product life cycle </li><li>Defining product marketing needs/ requirements and supporting Marketing plan execution including representing the company at industry tradeshows and customer events</li><li>Tracking product and user metrics</li><li>Addressing operational issues associated with quality, delivery, and production</li><li>Supporting Cataloging/ Parts Data Management</li><li>Liaise with legal, contract and compliance teams where necessary</li></ul>Experience / Qualifications<ul><li>A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.</li><li>Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands</li><li>Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation</li><li>Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results</li><li>Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity</li><li>Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)</li><li>Strong interpersonal &amp; collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers </li></ul>• Understanding the automotive/ heavy vehicle OE and/or Aftermarket is a must• Prior experience or working knowledge of electronic vehicle controls, which may include sensors or cameras, is a plus• Forward-thinking, highly influential, and can walk people through the rationale behind a decision• Willingness to travel up to 20% per year as required#LI-JL1 #LI-HybridBase Salary Range: $76,100.00 - $104,610.00At Sensata, our employees are the key to our success and growth.  We recognize that each individual brings their own unique experience, therefore the base salary range information shown above is a general guideline only.  Sensata considers several factors when extending an offer, including, but not limited to, a candidate’s experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations.
