Job Description

Redaptive is searching for a Business Development Manager/lead generation “hunter” to join our newly formed Business Development/Lead Gen Team to proactively pursue new leads, mostly through outbound activities (e.g. emailing, calling, etc.) to source qualified prospects to drive Redaptive’s sales pipeline.  Reporting to Origination’s Team leadership, your demand generation efforts will focus identifying and generating new qualified sales opportunities for our Sales Executives by delivering compelling value propositions to prospects while learning about their operations to understand where there may be areas Redaptive solutions can provide value.  The ideal candidate would be a self-starter with a love of outreach and a track record of successful sales development experience targeting senior level stakeholders at Fortune 2000 commercial and industrial organizations.  The role will have an opportunity to contribute in a direct and visible way to Redaptive’s top and bottom-line by successfully driving deals to closing while managing profitability, bankability and executability.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create and execute customized outbound outreach content & strategies leveraging phone, email, LinkedIn, and other lead sourcing tools and activities (i.e. attending events).
  • Research prospective clients and identify key decision-makers and influencers within prospect organizations.
  • Maintain an average call volume and meaningful connections with decision-makers to qualify target leads and create a lead pipeline for the Sales Team.
  • Increase brand awareness by educating prospects on the scope and depth of Redaptive solutions while differentiating our value from competitive offerings.
  • Handle objections and use sales techniques to align our solution to an organization’s needs.
  • Support the team with meticulous data management and activity tracking to ensure lead gen. systems are always current/accurate.  
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and other key stakeholders to develop and grow the pipeline to meet revenue goals.
  • Provide weekly reports to management on leads and sales activity  

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience with B2B lead generation development targeting senior level (Director and above) stakeholders
  • Proficient with energy related terminology and technologies such as HVAC, Lighting, motors, compressed air, solar, storage, electric mobility, etc.
  • Experience in energy/sustainability services, real estate development, property management, and or building science
  • Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills, proven ability to work remotely
  • Demonstrated experienced in Microsoft Suite applications, Salesforce, and other lead generation support platforms (i.e. marketing automation tools).
  • Self-starter, team player with the drive to win individually and as a team. Ability to bring alternate points of view to the discussion and analysis.
  • Highly effective in time management and organizational skills
  • Proven record of excellent customer service.
  • Strong PC skills: basic knowledge of applications/internal systems.
  • Existing energy & sustainability related industry experience & relationships preferred but not required

Colorado applicants: The expected annualized salary compensation for this position is $50,307 plus commission. This estimated salary represents the typical starting rate of candidates hired in Colorado. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include relevant experience, skills, and your remote work location. Redaptive offers subsidized medical, dental and vision plan coverage, a 401(k) match, participation in our equity plan, and an annual At-target incentive bonus opportunity of at least 10% of salary at 100% achievement (actual achievement % will vary).
