As a member of the DERs Department, you will assist with driving customer participation in programs that incentivize the adoption of distributed and community solar. Solar energy is critical in driving our nation’s progress toward a decarbonized grid, and you will play a material role in helping our team make this future a reality.   This position will report to the Director of the Consumer Protection team and will support our work as the Program Administrator for Illinois Shines. Illinois Shines is the statewide incentive program aimed at assisting people across Illinois to more affordably transition to solar power. To meet Illinois’ goal of having 100% of its energy come from renewable energy sources by 2050, it is imperative that consumers’ rights are protected when working with companies registered with the Program.
