As our Facilities Lead, you’ll be on hand to coordinate the smooth day-to-day running of our facilities operation, ensuring a well-maintained environment for our members and visitors. As this is a member-facing role, it requires a personable and professional approach across all tasks, including maintenance, administrative support, meeting and event setup, and ensuring compliance with health &amp; safety regulations.Key responsibilities<ul> <li>Maintenance tasks:</li> <ul> <li>Change light bulbs, fix leaks, and unclog drains.</li> <li>Monitor and maintain building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.</li> <li>Ensure daily cleanliness and tidiness of common areas, meeting rooms, and kitchens.</li> </ul> <li>Administrative tasks:</li> <ul> <li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests, work orders, and inventory.</li> <li>Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and services.</li> </ul> <li>Member support:</li> <ul> <li>Assist with member enquiries and requests, resolving issues promptly.</li> <li>Provide excellent customer service to all members and visitors.</li> </ul> <li>Health &amp; Safety compliance:</li> <ul> <li>Conduct regular safety inspections of the building and common areas.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.</li> <li>Respond to emergencies and accidents in line with company policies.</li> <li>Maintain first-aid kits and emergency equipment.</li> </ul> <li>IT support:</li> <ul> <li>Provide basic IT support to members, such as troubleshooting Wi-Fi issues and printer problems.</li> <li>Assist with the setup and maintenance of IT equipment.</li> </ul> <li>Events support:</li> <ul> <li>Assist with the setup and breakdown of events.</li> <li>Coordinate with event organisers to ensure smooth execution.</li> </ul> </ul>RequirementsWe need you to have<ul> <li>4+ years of experience in building maintenance and repair procedures.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.</li> <li>Ability to handle, move, and set up equipment and furniture safely, in line with manual handling guidelines.
