The primary focus of this role is to manage the inbound and outbound flow of inventory and materials in and out of warehousing and production environments. The role will have a major responsibility to maintain accurate inventory and material labeling. An ideal candidate for this role is very organized and has experience in logistics, ordering, inventory, and material movements. </span></div><br><br><h3>How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:</h3><ul><li>Collaborate with the production team in multiple areas to provide materials</li><li>Coordinate inbound and outbound material movements from warehouse and production environments</li><li>Perform day-to-day operations which include the use of powerlifting equipment</li><li>Receiving inbound parts/supplies and recording quantities of materials to the ERP system</li><li>Validating inbound quality documents against check sheets</li><li>Maintain shipping documentation per BETA’s document retention program</li><li>Assist in counting physical inventory</li><li>Picking, packing, and scheduling shipments</li><li>Decanting parts and assemblies for production</li><li>Inbound inspection of parts, materials, and equipment</li><li>Inventory management activities, including cycle counting</li><li>Creation of process standard work documentation and training team members on their contents</li><li>Ability to work between multiple locations if needed</li><li>Use of structured problem solving to identify the root cause of operational issues in order to develop corrective actions</li><li>Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, sweeping, dusting, and mopping</li></ul><h3>Minimum Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>High School graduate or equivalent</li><li>Forklift power lifting equipment experience</li><li>All-around good person and fun to work with</li><li>Previous work in a manufacturing environment with experience in aerospace, automotive, or  a startup preferred</li><li>Strong critical thinking and analytical skills</li><li>Ability to handle setbacks, and find solutions to challenging problems</li><li>Desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, &amp; demanding environment</li><li>Ability to use judgment to make decisions</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Ability to work independently, but function as a team player</li><li>Experience with ERP systems (PLEX, Oracle, SAP etc)</li><li>Familiarity with<b> </b>Google G-Suite and MS Office</li></ul><h3>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</h3><ul><li>Ability to work in a manufacturing environment using OSHA required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)</li><li>Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time and lift 75 pounds</li></ul><br><div><span style="font-size:18px;"><b>Build electric airplanes with us!</b></span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">We encourage all driven candidates to apply, even if they do not meet every listed qualification.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">We are an equal opportunity employer.
