The Senior Advisor - Air Quality position would provide air quality expertise to the environmental solutions and regulatory affairs team. We are an ESG company with a limited amount of technical bench strength for air modeling, Subpart W emissions analysis, air quality regulatory analysis and development, and potential for Trustwell input on air quality compliance and systems evaluations. This position would be a key interface with other air quality managers in our client base. The Senior Advisor of Air Quality would be able to provide consulting support on how clients implement the Canary system into their compliance systems and would also be able to advise clients on emissions reduction projects, GHG footprint and other air quality solutions.

Requirements

  • Support the entire Project Canary team with in-depth air quality knowledge and support
  • Work with the Government affairs team to provide technical support for all air quality rule development
  • Actively work with clients on ways to reduce GHG emissions by providing technological and emission inventory analysis
  • Develop benchmarking metrics for clients by basin and by type of operation to encourage emissions reduction
  • Communicate benchmarking data with clients using a blinded system and work with them to understand the differences
  • Interface with client air quality leaders on monitor performance, alerts / alarms, best air quality practices
  • Work with Customer Success teams to integrate feedback into continuous improvement efforts

Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of sustainability air quality metrics calculations and tracking
  • Knowledge of air quality requirements under the SASB, OGMP, One Future, GRI, MIQ and EO frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of E&P and midstream facilities design and air quality permitting
  • Knowledge of Colorado’s regulation 7, other state air quality regulations, and federal air quality regulations
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with data analytics and environmental data
  • Foundational understanding of upstream, midstream, and downstream energy markets + companies
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry and/or other heavy industry, preferred
  • Bachelor of Engineering or Science degree
