We are seeking a Principal Data Analyst / Data Steward to act as a strategic partner in shaping how marketing leverages data across the buyer journey. Reporting to the Head of Marketing Operations, this role works closely with the Growth Marketing Analyst, the broader Growth team, Digital Transformation, Sales, Revenue Operations, and Data Engineering to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable insights from a wide range of marketing and revenue systems.While data architecture and ownership reside with our Data Engineering and Digital Transformation teams, this role will steward the data strategy for marketing, ensuring integrity in the data that flows between HubSpot, Salesforce, Hightouch, Demandbase, ZoomInfo, Google Analytics, Cvent, and our data warehouse in Databricks. You’ll also drive campaign optimization, GTM alignment, and executive decision-making.Key Responsibilities1. Data Stewardship &amp; Integration Alignment<ul><li>Collaborate with Data Engineering and Digital Transformation to ensure proper integration and transformation of data across tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Hightouch, and third-party platforms.</li><li>Monitor and validate data pipelines to ensure marketing has access to the right data at the right time for analysis, targeting, and reporting.</li></ul>2. Attribution Modeling &amp; Funnel Insights<ul><li>Lead the development and ongoing optimization of multi-touch attribution models that reflect modern B2B buying behavior.</li><li>Partner with Revenue Operations and Sales to align funnel definitions and performance indicators, leveraging Databricks for robust cross-funnel reporting.</li></ul>3. Dashboarding &amp; Strategic Analysis<ul><li>Work closely with the Growth Marketing Analyst to design, build, and maintain performance marketing dashboards and executive-level reporting that reflect pipeline performance, campaign ROI, channel effectiveness, and budget pacing.</li><li>Go beyond reporting—analyze the data deeply to generate insights that inform decisions on campaign investment, targeting strategies, lead quality, and conversion optimization.</li></ul>4. Data Quality &amp; Enrichment<ul><li>Support efforts to enhance data hygiene in HubSpot and Salesforce through deduplication, validation, and field standardization.</li><li>Oversee marketing-specific enrichment workflows via platforms like ZoomInfo and Demandbase, ensuring accurate segmentation and personalization.</li></ul>5. Governance &amp; Compliance Advocacy<ul><li>Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to ensure marketing activities are fully compliant with GDPR, and other internal data privacy policies.</li><li>Guide teams on consent management, data retention policies, and compliant usage of marketing and event data across systems.</li></ul>6. Cross-Functional Enablement<ul><li>Act as the bridge between Marketing, RevOps, Sales, Growth, and Data teams, ensuring strategic alignment and transparency in how data is defined, accessed, and used.</li></ul>Translate marketing and growth objectives into scalable, data-informed solutions that impact pipeline and revenue.
