Job Description

Zoomo’s business is going to the next level. We are growing rapidly, and the Global Operations team is responsible for ensuring the business is set up for success - making sure we have Standard Operating Procedures, processes and systems in place to deliver for our customers, as we experience 10x growth.!


In this role you will work with the Central Ops team as well as Local Ops teams to investigate bottlenecks and operational inefficiencies that affect the scalability of the business and impact the customer experience for our riders.


You will ruthlessly prioritise the biggest challenges to be solved, develop clear project charters, manage the building, testing and implementation of new processes and track the results to measure impact. That’s why, we are looking for an entrepreneurial, analytical and pragmatic Operations Associate to add some extra firepower to our team.


To be successful in this role, the individual will need to be comfortable working in an ever changing, dynamic environment, be hands-on and be able to review data and make decisions on the best path forward.


Candidates with experience working within high-growth, operational business will be suitable for this role. Specific bike and mechanic knowledge is not required.

Requirements

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and systems
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to develop and test solutions
  • Design and evaluate the right metrics to measure success
  • Document improvements, create useful guides & update knowledge base on a regular basis
  • Own updating/implementing of new processes on a global scale
  • Collect and analyse data to drive good decision making


WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • Bachelor’s with at least 2-3 years experience in Operations, Engineering or Start-ups
  • Track record of building things from the beginning and getting things done (80/20 mindset)
  • Owners mindset and an ability to take initiative in a constantly changing environment
  • Ambitious, efficient and stable under tight deadlines and competing priorities
  • Experience making decisions with imperfect data in a fast-paced environment.
