Working Student – Battery Engineering & Data Analytics (f/m/d)

for our office in Hamburg.

Our Battery Engineering Circle is at the forefront of developing and operating cutting-edge Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across Europe. As a self-organized, interdisciplinary team, we combine innovation, data, and engineering to shape the energy transition.

Key responsibilities and duties

As a working student, you will support our team in managing and analyzing battery asset data to improve performance and reliability. Your main tasks will include:

  • Data Analysis & Visualization: Analyze large datasets from battery systems using Python and MATLAB to identify trends, anomalies, and performance issues.

  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate operational issues and support the team in identifying technical causes and proposing solutions.

  • Data Structuring & Management: Organize and maintain data libraries and documentation systems.

  • Tracking & Reporting: Develop dashboards and reports to monitor asset performance and support decision-making.

  • Research & Documentation: Support technical research, prepare presentations, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

  • Project Support: Participate in workshops, team meetings, and process optimization initiatives.
