SUMMARY: The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for the daily administrative and human resource duties of the organization. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining employee database, responding to employee inquiries and emails for the HR department.</li><li>Maintaining and tracking employee attendance, SQDC – employee scorecard results, workers compensation claims, and policies not limited to. </li><li>Assist HR Manager in policy formulation, hiring and salary administration.</li><li>Submit online job postings, vetting candidates and scheduling interviews.</li><li>Coordinate new hire orientation and training sessions.</li><li>Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their inquiries.</li><li>Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.</li><li>Assist with day-to-day operations of the general office administrative duties.</li><li>Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources Manager.</li><li>Compile, update, and maintain employee records (hard and soft copies).</li><li>Coordinate HR projects (open enrollment, meetings, trainings, surveys etc.) and take minutes in group meetings. </li><li>Maintaining paperless process and in compliance with federal laws.</li><li>Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.</li><li>Assist with ADP recordkeeping – timecards, notes, absenteeism, and tardiness. </li><li>Maintaining employee activities and initiatives such as Employee of the Month.</li><li>Operate and update company social media- Facebook and company website.</li><li>Plan and market employee events- seasonal, holidays, appreciation events.</li><li>Weekly updates to plant TVs (safety notices, holidays, media campaigns encouraging morale).</li><li>Log all employee trainings in Kaizen database, storing hard files.</li><li>Maintain staffing plan and coordinate events to maintain plentiful candidate pipeline. </li><li>Serve as point of contact with vendors, administrators, and guests.</li><li>Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing reference checks, and issuing employment contracts.</li><li>Maintain calendars of the HR management team.</li></ul> SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li style="text-align:justify;">This job has no supervisory responsibilities.</li></ul> QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Minimum of an Associate degree in Business, Human Resources or applicable degree.</li><li>Familiarity with using various social media and search engine platforms.</li><li>Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.</li></ul><ul><li style="text-align:justify;">Other skills required: Displays original thinking and creativity;
