He/she be focused on Public Utilities and Industries for the AW Segment and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs, perform market analysis, and implement sales strategies. Additionally, this role involves maintaining strong customer relationships, providing excellent customer service, and identifying new business opportunities within existing key accounts.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Strategy Execution:<ul><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute strategies.</li><li>Oversee execution, analysis, and optimization of account plans.</li><li>Focus on growth and market penetration</li></ul></li><li>Client Relationship Management:<ul><li>Customers (strategic accounts), develop and maintain strong relationships.</li><li>Address client inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure satisfaction</li><li>Join customers’ approved vendor lists, competitive bids and tenders</li></ul></li><li>Business Development:<ul><li>Research business opportunities and viable income streams.</li><li>Identify and map business strengths and customer needs.</li><li>Contribute to developing growth strategies and plans.</li><li>Write business proposals and negotiate with stakeholders.</li><li>Monitor industry trends, reporting on successes and areas needing improvement.</li><li>Grow customer base</li></ul></li><li>Goal Alignment and Performance Tracking:<ul><li>Prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders including sales forecast vs. budget, report to senior management providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.</li><li>Weekly collect information on opportunities funnel, flash figures, risks and opportunities.</li></ul></li><li>Adaptability and Problem-Solving:<ul><li>Thrive in a changing environment and adapt to new challenges.</li><li>Proactively address obstacles and find effective solutions.</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues to drive results.</li><li>Collaborate with third party suppliers to complement standard offering as needed.</li><li>Collaborate with customer-facing and relevant internal teams including Marketing, Application Engineering, Customer Support, Pricing, Engineering, Production, Quality Assurance, Aftersales &amp; Service to meet customer needs and drive business growth</li></ul></li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>5+ years of experience in sales in a multinational company.</li><li>Good knowledge of English, written and spoken.</li><li>Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.</li><li>Strong problem-solving abilities.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>In-depth knowledge of water sector’s market dynamics and customer requirements will be considered a plus.</li><li>Previous experience working with public utilities will be considered a plus</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field</li><li>Experience with Engineer-to-Order (ETO) and Configure-to-Order (CTO) processes.</li></ul>Location: SpainBenefits: Life and health insuranceJoin the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
