The People Services Advisor supports the day-to-day queries that are raised with the regional People Services team as well as providing guidance, support and coaching to line managers on foundation to intermediate cases, helping to develop the managers capability and skills to manage and resolve people queries and issues themselves.As the People Services Advisor, you will work with the broader People Services team to ensure the effective delivery of people related services, support and solutions.This is a 12 months contract based in our Braeside office, offering hybrid flexibility with 2/3 days per week in the office.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prompt and correct delivery of all people administration activity and transactional processes across the region, focusing on the colleague experience</li><li>Ensure all relevant HR legislation is adhered to</li><li>Generate employment contracts and other relevant HR documents, ensuring all HR documentation is reviewed and updated in line with any legislation changes</li><li>Provide advice and guidance across the full spectrum of people related issues, particularly discipline, grievance, capability/performance management and absence</li><li>Escalate complex, risky, or sensitive cases to relevant specialists and People Services Managers</li><li>Proactively coach managers and colleagues to use Workday, adopt processes / practices, use policies and guidance materials</li><li>Produce reports as needed, alongside statistics and data to support people team processes &amp; events</li></ul>  What we’re looking for<ul><li>Bachelor Degree in HR or equivalent or able to show a proven record of knowledge and know how</li><li>Full working knowledge of Workday</li><li>Excellent service orientation with the ability to build strong relationships with regional teams, HR and business stakeholders, with evidence of working across geographical and cultural differences.</li><li>Established experience in dealing with transactional elements of HR, including the full employee lifecycle</li><li>Demonstrated local experience in managing employee relations especially in compliance to FairWork, investigations, and conflict resolution, including experience in dealing with works councils</li><li>Basic understanding of Worker’s compensation</li><li>Well-organised and efficient; able to manage own workload, and to plan and manage tasks to ensure that deadlines and SLAs are met</li><li>Is commercially minded, able to show the fiscal impact of decisions</li><li>Fluent English required and business fluent in another relevant language would be advantageous</li></ul>#LI-JG1Equal employment opportunityWe welcome people from different backgrounds and cultures, and respect people’s unique skills, attitudes and experiences.
