The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Brisbane, Australia.Key responsibilities:<ul><li>Ensure Schedule development for bid preparation and provide planning tender documentation and cost estimation</li><li>Ensure the development of resource loaded overall master schedule and project detailed schedules are aligned with stated deliverables</li><li>Ensure the implementation of integrated planning processes and standards</li><li>Ensure the project Earned Value Analysis (EVA)</li><li>Earned Value Management (EVM).</li><li>Critical path analysis, S-curve and progress reporting</li><li>Program integrity checks and schedule risk analysis</li><li>Support Project Team in analysis of scope of work, definition of the work breakdown structure by implementing and optimizing project execution plans</li><li>Support planning team members to get desired outcome</li><li>Support Project Controller for the economical monitoring of project</li><li>Guarantee project reporting in a reliable and timely manner</li></ul>Skills &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent</li><li>10+ years relevant experience of project planning and monitoring</li><li>Primavera P6 and MS Project</li><li>Project Management</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Experience of rail signalling, control systems and rolling stock is highly desirable</li></ul>At Hitachi Rail, we know that a diverse business is a sustainable business.
