Your work will be fundamental in ensuring the success of the hardware team goals and will be pivotal in driving key performance improvements across the product. You will work closely with the Electronics, Mechanical, Firmware and Production engineering teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where decisions are made quickly and everyone has an impact. You will have the opportunity to contribute directly to our production hardware.</div><div><br></div><div>This internship will run from Monday 17th November 2025 through to Friday 14th February 2026. It will be full-time 40 hours a week over this time period. </div><br><br><h3>What your day could look like</h3><ul><li>Product Development - Assist the mechanical team in designing, prototyping and testing new devices. We’re in an exciting phase of development at the moment and you’ll get exposure to design for injection molding, sheet metal, metal extrusion, and die casting.</li><li>Production - Assist production engineers in solving complex production challenges, increasing efficiencies and refining the production machine.</li><li>Testing &amp; Validation - Design &amp; execute thorough test regimes to fully qualify new products or product iterations.</li><li>Reduce device cost, increase device reliability and performance.</li><li>Design and build ancillary jigs, fixtures and test equipment to support hardware development &amp; production.</li><li>Assist with the procurement of components and parts</li><li>Assist the hardware team with any other miscellaneous projects required to complete high level team objectives.</li></ul><h3>Who are we looking for?</h3><ul><li>You are enrolled in your penultimate, final year or have a recent completion of a mechanical or mechatronics engineering or similar degree.</li><li>Someone with the right attitude.
