In this role, you'll oversee critical platform components including our e-commerce platform, admin portal, order management system, and integrations with internal and external systems, all focused on accelerating growth and improving the customer experience.Key Responsibilities<ul><li style="font-weight:400;">Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of e-commerce platform technologies that align with our business needs and scalability requirements</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Own the product vision for our customer account system, including authentication, personalization, and preference management across consumer and commercial business</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Serve as the primary liaison between technology teams and internal stakeholders including Order Management, Inventory, Fulfillment, and Customer Service</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Develop integration strategies to ensure seamless data flow between customer-facing applications and backend systems</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Design and build the technical architecture that enables complex product bundling, dynamic pricing, and flexible promotion strategies across product categories for subscriptions and purchases</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Champion platform improvements that reduce technical debt while enhancing conversion, retention, and operational efficiency</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Create and maintain a comprehensive platform roadmap aligned with business objectives and stakeholder needs</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li style="font-weight:400;">5+ years of product management experience in e-commerce platforms or retail technology</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Demonstrated experience evaluating and implementing e-commerce, accounting, and payment platforms (e.g., Shopify, Stripe, NetSuite, custom solutions)</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Strong understanding of account systems, identity management, and customer data platforms</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Experience with order management systems and understanding of e-commerce operations</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to balance competing priorities</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Technical background sufficient to collaborate effectively with engineering teams</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Experience with direct-to-consumer hardware products is a plus</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Proven track record of effectively managing engineering teams using Agile methodologies, including creating and maintaining JIRA boards, sprint planning, and fostering a motivated, high-performing team culture</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field (or equivalent experience)</li></ul>Ideal Candidate<ul><li style="font-weight:400;">Has successfully led platform migrations or major upgrades in an e-commerce environment</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Understands payment processing, fraud prevention, and security considerations for e-commerce</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Experience implementing and optimizing microservices architecture for platform flexibility</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Knowledge of API design patterns and experience with headless commerce architectures</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Has built effective bridges between technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization</li></ul>The estimated base salary range for this position is $140k to $185k, which does not include the value of benefits or a potential equity grant.
